So, what triggers a breakthrough?

Writer: Survey TeamSurvey Team

On Valentine’s Day, I shared how hating what I do turned out to become what I love.

When the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the pain of making a change, that's where breakthroughs happen.

Change also happens when:

  • You gain new insight into the same old things and see the other side of the coin.

  • You discover the truth, as what we believe isn’t always the only truth.

  • You learn a new strategy, finding different ways to reach your goals.

  • You have a new conversation or experience that shows you what’s truly possible.

And you've already had many breakthroughs in your life, moments where you said:"Not another day, not another hour, not another minute... I'm changing this now."

We're all capable of creating breakthroughs in our lives, but sometimes our need for certainty holds us back.

So here is how I approach it:

  • Minimize expenses to allow yourself more freedom. (This includes time, which is also an expense.)

  • Take on new challenges and risk it. The worst that can happen? You’ll have a story to tell, an alternative experience, and the option to continue as before.

  • Set a realistic timeline of one year to test it out without backing out before the year is up.

  • Then review it and decide what’s next because the year will pass anyway.

This one year will pass anyway it’s guaranteed. The only difference is whether you try a different approach to life, career, business and discover what works and what doesn’t.

And what if it works?
