Look, I’ve already had three people reach out today with the same problem.
And to be honest at the beginning, I was in the same place....
Doing everything myself. Running myself exhausted. Drained.
But it’s 2026. Everyone is full of energy, excitement, and motivation, still grinding through their January challenges, refusing to quit on transforming their lives.
And a truth most people overlook this: one of the biggest stressors in life is work, either too much of it, or work that drains you, because you know that you should not be doing this... it takes time away from what really matters.
Here’s what I learned: just because you can do it all yourself doesn’t mean you should.
I faced a choice last month: fix my leaking roof myself or pay a builder £1000.
This is when I realized, my time and emotional space is worth more than a weekend driving to and from B&Q and spending all the time on the roof and doing what I am not expert at.
My my business growth, and spending time with my wife are far higher leverage than doing work I’m not meant to do.
But here is the reality: For those just starting out, yes, you’ll need to do a lot yourself.
These people reaching out to me ware Architects and interior designers telling me: going around properties just to measure them feels necessary, but it doesn’t add to their creativity. In fact, it steals time and energy from what truly moves their business forward.
But if you’ve been running your business for years and are still doing everything alone, that’s fear disguised as necessity: “No one can do it as well as me,” or “I won’t have enough money.” And you know what? That fear becomes reality, you stay stuck doing the work that drains you.
But did you know: there are people who actually enjoy and excel at the work that drains you. They’re experts, they have the right tools, the systems in place, and years of experience. Because of that, they can often do it faster and better than you ever could.
The trick isn’t doing it yourself the trick is finding the right people and managing them to handle it for you, that is growth that is scalable.
Now, imagine having a power team at your fingertips, experts who handle the measuring, site visits, and drafting those as-built drawings. Suddenly, you gain days, weeks of time to focus on design, creativity, and business growth, the areas that actually matter to you.
Just because you could do it yourself… doesn’t mean you have to.
Lets go 2026 - Success takes courage, passion, and belief!
This will be OUR year! - Your making progress don't lose the momentum!
